Schedule a session in two taps, run the roster, import past sessions
Training Sessions
A training session is the scheduled surf — the hub that footage, watch data and the roster attach to. Manage them under Training Sessions (/training-sessions; the old /lessons addresses redirect here).
A training session is the in-person session on the calendar. A video session is the analysis artifact from uploaded clips. A training session can link to a video session.
Schedule one in two taps
- Click Schedule Session. The form opens pre-filled with today at the next half hour and the spot you used last time.
- Tap Save session. Only the date is required.
Optionally pick Athletes (one for a 1:1, several for a group) and open More options for duration (default 60 minutes), capacity, a location label, notes and a note to athletes. Rostered athletes get an in-app notification.
List and calendar
Toggle between a list (split into Upcoming and Past) and a calendar. Hovering a card reveals a quick delete with a confirmation. An org-wide team calendar of every coach's sessions lives under Coaches → Team calendar (/coaches/calendar).
The session detail
/training-sessions/[id]:
- Edit date & time, spot, location, duration, notes and the linked video session; link footage or start filming from here.
- Status actions: Mark as Completed, Mark No-show, Cancel Session, and Re-schedule after a cancellation or no-show.
- Roster — add athletes, mark them attended or no-show, or remove them. When a session is at capacity, extra athletes are waitlisted and the first in line is promoted when a seat frees up.
- Watch data — the Apple Watch sessions attached to this session (see Prove).
- Delete session — permanently removes the session and its roster.
Rescheduling, cancelling or deleting notifies the rostered athletes. Reminders go out about 24 hours before, and a starting soon push shortly before the start.
Import past sessions
- Import CSV (
/training-sessions/import) — a guided upload → column-map → review wizard for up to 500 past sessions. It suggests mappings, parses common date and time formats (wall-clock times are read in the coach's timezone, defaulting to America/Barbados) and resolves athletes by name or email; ambiguous rows import unlinked behind a per-row picker. - Batch upload (
/upload?mode=batch) — when you also have the clips, drag whole session folders and let the review step link each to the right training session. See Film.
