Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Surflink — the web app at surflink.ai and the Surflink iPhone, Apple Watch, and Apple TV apps (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use Surflink on behalf of a surf school or club, you also agree on that organization's behalf.

• Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Coaches and organization owners control their roster and are responsible for having the right to upload and analyze the footage and athlete data they add.
• Athletes under 13 cannot hold their own login: a parent or guardian must accept the invitation and be the primary account holder. An athlete aged 13 to 17 may hold their own login once a parent or guardian approves it from the link we send them; deleting that account asks the guardian too. Nothing about an athlete under 16 is published to a public page. An athlete whose age is unknown is treated as a minor.

• There is no free trial. A paid coach subscription (billed monthly through Stripe) is required before Surflink can be used, by the coach and by the athletes of that coach’s club. The plans on offer (Solo, Pro Coach and Club), their prices and athlete limits are shown on the pricing page; extra seats are billed per coach.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

You keep ownership of everything you upload — footage, notes, plans, and recordings. You grant Surflink the license needed to host, process, and display that content to the people you share it with, including running automated video analysis (surfer detection, tracking, pose estimation, ride segmentation) on your footage and transcribing the voice notes a coach records in a guided review. These outputs are measurements and transcripts, not coaching: a coach's judgment, not a model, is the product of record.

• Only upload footage and data you have the right to use — including recordings Surflink reads from a camera you connect, and rides sent between your own devices.
• No harassment or abuse in messaging. A message containing a slur, an explicit sexual word or severe profanity is refused automatically, and the sender is told why.
• No attempts to break authentication, scrape other users' data, or resell the Service.

Watch metrics and AI analysis are training aids, not medical advice. Surfing is inherently risky; decisions about whether and where to surf are yours (and your coach's), not Surflink's. Health data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.

You may delete your account at any time (in the iPhone app: You → Privacy → Delete my account; a coach: You → your profile → Privacy and account → Delete my account; or by email). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination, the Privacy Policy's deletion rules apply.

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent the law allows, Surflink disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
